Happy Hollow Camp Out

Last weekend Eric took Lillian to Happy Hollow  for their annual sleepover.  It was a grand old time, with animals to touch, flashlight tours of nocturnal zoo critters, s'mores and sleeping in a tent.  The only downside is that they shut down the rides for the night, a fact that Lillian only realized as we were leaving Sunday morning.  As you may remember, Lillian used to be a bit reluctant to touch animals though determined to interact with them.  That has changed, as she pet the opossum and the turtle without a moment's hesitation.

Hi, just wondering about your daughter's name - I have a baby Lillian and people are CONSTANTLY asking if we do, or just assuming that we call her Lily. Do you have this same experience? Just asking because I noticed you only call her by her full name on your blog. We realized Lily might be something that came up on occasion, but didn't realize pretty much everyone who names their baby Lillian, only call them Lily. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess...
