Birthdays, Spring Break in Phoenix, Science Fair and Family Parade 2018

April was a very busy month.  First we had the science fair, where the kids got to show off their home grown crystals (they're still planning to eat the rock candy at some point).  Next Kristen and the kids flew to Phoenix for spring break, where Nathaniel decided he was a puppy for a while, and they all climbed a mountain.  Lillian had her 11th birthday, where we made her an awesome cake full of marzipan wildflowers.  She also got her first block of modelling clay, and proceeded to branch into a new artistic medium.  Eric attended a conference in Minneapolis, where it was snowy, and full of wild turkeys and the world's biggest shopping mall.  Kristen organized our school's group in the annual Mountain View Family Parade.  Nathaniel got to visit Eric's workplace for Bring Your Kid to Work Day (but we couldn't get him to pose for a photo with the flying pig mascot!).  And we moved into May with Eric's birthday.

Musical Performances 2018

As we approach the end of the school year, we have had lots of music performances to show what the kids have been practicing all year.
