Lillian Plays

I captured this video last week of Lillian playing with her ball. She was having lots of fun chasing the ball around the living room. She also does some cruising and playing with her activity table in the video. She has taken a few independent steps this week, Julia counted 13 in a row on Thursday. We haven't been able to capture any of this on video so far.

Lillian has also become quite the clown lately, she likes trying to make people laugh by making funny noises. Yesterday we were at the playground, she saw another baby and started making a funny noise, another baby did the same thing. It was like they were communicating in their own baby language. Lillian thought it was extremely funny, she was giggling so hard she almost fell down. It was very cute. She also learned how to drop things onto the floor and say "uh oh".

Easter Egg Hunt

This past Sunday Lillian attended her first Easter Egg Hunt. Our friend Lisa invited us all out to her family's annual Easter Egg Hunt in Montara. Lillian had a great time crawling around in the grass with her little buddy Samuel (Lisa's Baby) and playing with all the brightly colored Eggs. We were able to capture some of the babies action on video, Lillian's the one in the floppy pink hat.

Here's a nice picture of Lillian and Kristen getting ready for the Hunt . . .

Veggie Babies

Lillian has been eating a lot lately. This past month had the stomach flu and an ear infection, that cut her apatite for a while. Now she is well and has been eating like crazy. For lunch on Monday she she ate an entire banana and most of an apple (she stole the apple from another baby!) plus some crackers. Last weekend we cooked some asparagus risotto and artichokes and she loved them both.

It's a good thing Lillian loves her veggies because we just joined a CSA and are expecting our first box of fresh veggies tomorrow. We are very excited about the bounty of veggies coming tomorrow.

In other milestones, Lillian has taken her first tentative steps this week. She isn't walking yet, but she cruises like a pro and will take a step or two if she has nothing to hang on to. We're looking forward to seeing her walking develop over the next few weeks. She is also working on a few more teeth, one of her lateral incisors is just starting to poke through the gum. Lillian may have a fang until the other incisors come in.

Visit with Grammy and Grampy

Lillian had a great visit with her Grammy Elaine and her Grampy Tom. She got to show them all her new ticks like climbing up the play structure at the playground and pushing things around the house.
